Take control of the fully physics-based character and control him by a 2D puppet projection. Move the pivots of the bones to set the correct pose to walk through the level and obstacles. Use different poses to avoid obstacles or speed up the character. The human will fully copy the projection of the 2D puppet and set up the right pose.
