Pente Live app offers you the opportunity to play your favorite game from pente.org, with both turn-based and live games. There is no need to restrict yourself to your desktop anymore when competing against other players. Available for both iOS and Android, this app encompasses all games available on pente.org.

Pente is an easy-to-learn yet challenging board game played on a 19x19 board. Players from across the world can compete with each other using various play styles and modes, including turn-based play, real-time play, playing against two different computer players, participating in tournaments, playing King of the Hill, and earning a crown, and searching the game database for popular moves for the best move!

In Gomoku, the game ends when you align five stones (not more) in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal manner. Pente is similar to Gomoku, but a player cannot win with just five aligned stones. In Pente, a player can also capture stones by surrounding a pair of his opponent's stones. For instance, in case of XOO, placing an X in a way that touches both O's eliminates the opponent's stones from the board.

Additionally, capturing ten or more of the opponent's stones can also lead to winning. A capture cannot be played in Pente, and the 'Tournament rule' is added during rated games. It mandates that player one's second move be at least three intersections away from the center of the board.

Keryo-Pente is similar to Pente, but a player can also capture three stones in a row. In G-Pente, player one's second move is also restricted, like in the tournament rule. Furthermore, it prohibits the player from playing on the 4th and 5th intersections away from player one's first move, which are common second moves for white.

D-Pente is a unique style of play. Player one plays 2 white and 2 black stones in their first move. Player two decides to continue as Player two or takes over as Player one. After this, play continues as in regular Pente.

Lastly, Poof-Pente entails playing into a capture. For example, from XO_X, players can play XOOX, causing your opponent's stones to be 'poofed' (removed from the board and counted as captures). Normal captures are also allowed, and winning still requires ten captured stones. Up to five stones can be poofed in one move. The game continues until one player gains an advantage.

The Boat-Pente's end game differs. After making a Pente, the game continues as long as your opponent is capable of capturing across the Pente. Capturing five pairs is a win, and the tournament rule applies for rated games.

Connect6 has a unique game plan of getting six pieces in a row, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Player one begins by playing a piece in the center of the board. Next, players put down two stones at a time.

Lastly, DK-Pente combines the rules of D-Pente and Keryo-Pente. Go is also available for play using this app.
