The app uses timed access to designated "reward" websites (e.g. YouTube) to positively reinforce and motivate repetitive literacy learning exercises.



With this app you can allow you child to earn timed access to a "reward" website such as a custom YouTube playlist by completing a series of basic vocabulary building learning exercises. The idea is that this will allow your child to learn to self-regulate their time spent on sites like YouTube, by providing them with a path to timed access, and regular junctures at which to decide again whether or not to work for access.



This helps break the vicious cycle baked into many entertainment sites like YouTube where kids will continue watching video after video endlessly, and becoming frustrated or having a meltdown when it's taken away or limits are imposed.



It also helps to boost vocabulary and literacy skills maintenance, and allows you to easily add new words, and take multiple photos for each word to help your child generalize their learning.
