Aperçu du jeu

Play the strategic board game 'Goats and Tigers' and challenge seven AI levels while being entertained during commutes.

‘Goats and Tigers’ is an ancient strategy board game that originated from Nepal's national game called bāgh cāl. The game is similar to Draughts or Checkers and has gained massive popularity worldwide. The objective of the game is to strategically place pieces at the intersections of the board's lines. Four tigers begin the game in the corners of the board, while goats are dropped one at a time into empty squares. The tigers seek to win the game by jumping over goats and occupying an empty square. Goats can win by trapping the tigers in a position where they can't move. The game designers created this game to test whether the Minimax algorithm could create efficient AI players in Bagh Chal. Some levels use this algorithm to pick the tigers' moves, while others do not. Whether Minimax provides a suitable computer opponent depends on which levels you choose to play. The game includes seven levels of AI to beat, providing adequate gameplay for a bus or tube journey. Why not enhance your strategic skills while passing the time with ‘Goats and Tigers’?
