Aperçu du jeu

Cross the border while avoiding border patrol and dehydration. Record of every death shown as a skeleton, simulating the high death toll faced by Mexican immigrants.

Borders is more than just a game, it is a political art creation that highlights the perils encountered by Mexican immigrants seeking a brighter future. Players will have to cross the border, avoid the La Migra (border patrol) and keep themselves hydrated. Any time a player meets his demise, the spot becomes a permanent record represented by a skeleton. This universal symbol serves as a warning and signifies the thousands of lives claimed by the famed deserts of Mexico.

Purchasing this game will contribute towards the traveling art exhibition of Borders, where everyone can witness and appreciate the artistic pieces used to convey the message of hope and inspiration. You can find more about this exhibition by visiting this website: www.gonzzink.com/portfolio/borders

Borders is initially available in PC version through gonzzink.itch.io/borders. The game creators Gonzalo Alvarez, Jonathan DiGiacomo, and Genaro Vallejo Reyes have worked together to ensure that this game becomes the ultimate source of inspiration for the next generation. Their creativity and design brilliance is evident in every aspect of this game.
