With over 150 challenges to complete, the game's soundtrack stands out with more than 10 original pieces of music that players can enjoy while navigating jumping bean-embraced Emilio's quest to rescue his girlfriend and axolotls. The evil wizard's curse turned Emilio into a jumping bean, so now he must use his jumping skills to evade enemies, avoid death traps, and rescue his only love and his pet axolotls through five different worlds.

The retro platform game, Bean's Quest, offers a simple navigation system for mobile devices with controls that allow players to move either to the left or the right. And while the graphics induce nostalgia with their vibrant, colorful and pixelated 16-bit stylized artwork, subtle parallax, shimmering diamonds, and shiny special effects add a mesmerizing detail.

TouchArcade commented on the game's graphics, "The graphics are perfectly vibrant, and have just enough of that 16-bit era pixely-ness to them without going overboard. The original soundtrack by Flashygoodness is an excellent pairing, and the controls work great…” While AppAdvice wrote, "The graphics are fun, colorful, and a treat to look at."

Bean's Quest is MMGN's App of the Week and falls in the adventure game category with challenging physics puzzles and adorable creatures. The game features classic platforming integrated with thrilling physics puzzles, allowing players to push blocks, spin seesaws, roll boulders, and dodge spike-balls as they navigate through the levels.

The game's main goal is to rescue Emilio's girlfriend; therefore, to get there, players are presented with numerous jewels to collect, with one pet axolotl hidden in every stage to save. Through entertaining gameplay, players can achieve the perfect jump count and make their way towards victory, quickly earning the perfect jump badge!
