In your attempt to ascend to the top, be prepared to face spectacular conflicts and scheming rivals as you vie for supremacy among the great kingdoms of the medieval world. Whether it is through diplomacy or conquest, trade or subterfuge, players must do whatever it takes to secure the necessary resources and loyalty required to rule an empire. With up to 17 playable factions, MEDIEVAL II allows players to build their nations into major world powers using either statecraft, subterfuge, or all-out war. In addition to the standard game, the Kingdoms expansion, with 4 unique and fully featured campaigns, is available for purchase via in-app purchase. Players will be able to wage war in diverse terrains from the jungles of the Americas to the deserts of the Holy Land, from the surprisingly peaceful shores of the British Isles to the cold and unforgiving Baltic plains. Players can deploy their infantry, archers, and cavalry into massive real-time battles, with an arsenal of medieval weaponry at their command. Utilizing sophisticated diplomacy, lucrative trade agreements, and daring agents, players can forge alliances or destabilize their rivals. With MEDIEVAL II, players can shape the destinies of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East through five momentous centuries of combat, competition and conquest. With a brand-new user interface and enhanced touch controls, as well as mouse and keyboard compatibility, players will have complete command of the battlefield.
