Thaayam - A classic Indian board game popular in the state of TamilNadu.
Number of players : 2 or 4
Game Rules
Each player has 6 coins
On each turn a player starts with a dice roll.
The dice roll can result in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 12.
A player must roll a 1 (Thaayam) to start his/her game.
To enable coins a player must roll 1 or 5.
The first player to get all his/her 6 coins to the center square is the winner.
To get into the inner square a player must cut another player's coin.
A roll of 1, 5, 6 or 12 or a cut move will get another chance for a player.
In the outer squares the coins move anti-clockwise and then in the inner squares they move in clockwise direction.
