Tales of the Black Death

Tales of the Black Death - Italy is the first part of a three-component game series that also includes France and England. Players will accompany Baldasar, a young Italian boy, as he embarks on a journey through Italy during the Middle Ages. The game's plot revolves around Baldasar, who has become an outcast due to the unknown illness that claimed the lives of his parents. He seeks refuge in the company of a traveling thief as they struggle to survive in the harsh and disease-ridden land populated by bandits and death.

In addition to managing the character's survival concerns such as health, injuries, malaise, and infections, the game also creates a moral landscape with its own set of rules. Here, the player will have to make tough decisions, with the outcomes impacting the storyline or the characters around them. Be warned; indulging in evil deeds will reduce the character's morality and may also result in the loss of their soul.

The game features several hundred player choices, over 30 finely detailed locations to explore, and a range of unique characters to meet throughout the journey. Keeping track of the inventory is also essential for survival in the game.
