Scrape Escape is an adventure game hidden in a scratchable A2 poster. You decide what steps to take and how the adventure will play out – will you make the right decisions and win the game, or will you take a wrong turn and lose! And each scratchable turn takes time, so will you be able to win before the clock runs out, or will you forever be lost. The time is scratchable too, so you can play when you want, and stop and start whenever you wish to play.
Each game has hidden augmented reality (AR) puzzles that will set you on an exciting and challenging path to winning. Each AR game will give you another panel to scratch, helping lead you through the path. Do well and you will make fast progress. Do badly, and extra challenges and delays will be your reward. To be able to access the AR puzzles, download this app and read the instructions before starting. Be patient as it may take a while and some moving the phone around for the scan to be recognized, but it will launch the puzzles and give you a chance to take the next step through the adventure.
This is a game primarily aimed at 8 to 13-year-olds but can be enjoyed by anyone who likes to be part of an adventure. Good luck and happy adventuring.
