Resumen del juego

Play Rummy against 3 challenging computer players and get rid of cards to win, using straight formations or three or four of a kind.

Rummy is an absolutely enjoyable card game where the key objective is to dispose of points by laying down your cards. The player with the least points at the end of the game is the winner. In the beginning, players are given 7 cards and the dealer starts the game. When it is your turn, you initiate by drawing a card from the deck or discard pile. Since the dealer has already drawn a card while dealing, it is essential to keep this in mind before drawing a card. Once you draw a card, you can either decide to play it or keep it. Eventually, your turn ends by adding a card to the discard pile.

In case the card you discard could be used to form a pile, any player including yourself, could shout "Rummy" to prevent the next player from taking it. However, if you do not say "Rummy," the next player can take it whatsoever. Notably in this game, "Rummy" is automatically coined. As soon as a player places all their cards by the end of the 13th round, and everyone has had equal turns, the game round ends.

There are numerous ways to get rid of cards. You could do so by adding them to cards that have been laid down by another player, or even your own. If you can lay down three or more cards of the same set or three/four of a kind, go for it. Wildcards in this game can represent any card, and the value of aces is broadened, starting from the initial hand. Aces are wild in the first hand, twos in the second, threes in the third, etc. until kings. However, one can only take a wild card if they replace it with the card it represents. Therefore, before taking a wild card, ensure you have already laid the cards down.

The point value of aces is one, while jacks, queens, and kings are ten. The other cards in the game are valued based on their face value. Wildcards are given a value of thirty points. By holding on to wild cards, one can easily lay down their cards, but they should be wary not to get stuck with one. Also, holding onto three of a kind or a straight can restrict other players from laying down their cards. Nonetheless, if you don't lay down your cards, any other person could go out before you manage to do so.

Overall, Rummy is my all-time favorite card game. Take on the challenge of playing against three computer players that play and mimic real players' techniques convincingly.
