With each fossil you clean, more time is added to the clock according to how well you cleaned the fossil. The less damage, the better! But be careful about taking too long – if you run out of time, it’s game over.



Beware – doing well in your cleaning it isn’t as easy as simply taking a hammer to it! With over twenty different rock patterns that can generate in-game, as well as differently-shaped fossils, you’ll have a variety of different cleaning obstacles to deal with. The deeper you go into the game, the more difficult the process becomes, a task made more difficult through the addition of mines, which explode when hammered! With an X-ray at your disposal, the best means of gaining the highest scores is to make use of all the tools at your disposal, with a deft and quick hand cleaning the fossils with as minimal time wasted as possible.
