Miitomo, the one-of-a-kind smart-device app from Nintendo that connects you with your friends and sparks interesting conversations, will unfortunately end its service on May 9th, 2018 at 12:00 AM PT. One of the basic features of Miitomo is creating a personal Mii character that looks just like you, using a vast library of facial features. Once your Mii is created, you are able to customize its speech, movement, and behavior to make it truly unique. Your Mii character serves as a social go-between in Miitomo, asking you and your friends questions about each other that you normally wouldn't think to ask. You'll get to know fun and interesting details about your friends and vice versa. The Miitomo shop offers a variety of clothing options including costumes, streetwear, formal attire, and everyday styles. Miitomo coins earned through gameplay can be used to purchase clothing items, or they can be bought directly with real money. An exciting minigame called Miitomo Drop is also available, where you drop your Mii character into a play field and watch as it falls towards various platforms. Depending on where it lands, you can win prizes, including clothing items that can only be found in Miitomo Drop. Game tickets can also be used to play the minigame, which can be earned as a daily bonus or purchased with real money. Another feature, Miifotos, allows you to create images by placing your Mii and your friends' Mii characters into various backgrounds using stamps and fonts from a library. You can even use photos from your smartphone's camera. Please note that Miitomo offers in-app purchases, and users must be at least 13 years old to use the app. Third-party partners collect data from the app for analytical and marketing purposes, which is outlined in the app's privacy policy.
