KIDSTAR – mobile application – uses augmented reality technology to enhance children’s reading experience, which designed to utilize the child’s stored interactions and generate insights while retaining reading using physical books.
KIDSTAR provides children with augmented reality tools (visualization and interactions), to illustrate and interact with the book’s scene in virtual a 3D set-up. The visual tools enable children to color, scale, and locate virtual objects and bring their imagination into reality.
Children will capable to create their imaginary 3-D hero and interact with these objects.
Moreover, application will help to detect child’s issue in learning thus solving them, or track – as well - outstanding skills to develop them more. The application is a supporting educational tool involving book as a media and technology as instrument to speed and enhance overall processes.
Warning for parents and guardians, please note that while using Augmented Reality app, there's a tendency for children to step backwards to view the hero, so please mind their surroundings.
