SYMBOLS:

Cross:
The Cross is a symbol of death and torture. But, after Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, it is the symbol of God's wisdom. (I Corinthians 1.18-25)

Crown:
Thorns and thorn branches signify sorrow, tribulation and sin. The crown of thorns is a symbol of the martyrdom of Jesus.

Bread and wine:
The bread symbolizes the body and the wine symbolizes the blood of Christ. These two elements appear in the Last Supper. (Luke 22:19-20)

Candle:
Candles play a large and varied role in the Christian religion, in the teaching of Christianity it symbolically expresses the source of divine light.

Fish:

Dove:
