Frontline: The Longest Day

June 6th, 1944 marks the day the Allies launched the liberation of German-occupied Western Europe during the Second World War - the historic event known as D-Day. Frontline: The Longest Day is a tactical game that gives players the chance to lead the Allied forces through famous battles of the war, freeing Europe from the clutches of the German Army. Inspired by historical missions during Operation Overlord - namely Utah, Omaha, Gold, Cherbourg, Sword and Juno - the game offers five mammoth missions that will keep players completely engaged and challenged. Players have to make tough decisions, think through their options, and use the terrain to their advantage, as well as plan their combat techniques with care. Each unit comes with a specific skillset that can be leveraged to overcome the enemy's defense and save Europe from impending doom. In Frontline: The Longest Day, players can opt for either land or aerial combat, and with over 80 distinct units available, it's possible to play according to individual preferences. Each unit can be upgraded in-game, based on combat experience and success, which means players can customize their army to suit their unique gaming style. The game has in-depth combat mechanics and special abilities for all units- including flanking maneuvers, suppression, fatigue, and so on. The maps reflect the real-life terrain closely, elevating the playing experience by accurately mirroring impact during the historical situation. Frontline: The Longest Day boasts a unique visual style incorporating highly-detailed, realistic unit representations.
