Ekstasis

The app draws participants into a scenario of longing for presence, friendship and change.



Ecstasy presents a situation where you as a participant with a safe framework can explore how different forces take control of you and your friends. You give up your action initiative but get an experience of a different kind of freedom. As a participant, you follow the script, a script that only you know. You listen and move together, but also in each other's own bubble.



Ecstasy is the result of a collaboration between the performing arts collective Nyxxx and the indie game developers Pusselbit. The experience is created with the support of the Swedish Arts Council and the Gävleborg Region



To play Ecstasy you need:

- Four participants.

- A separate room, such as a spacious kitchen or a regular living room.

- A table with four seats.

- Headphones connected to your mobiles. They are welcome to let through room noise.

- Mobile in do not disturb mode to avoid incoming calls and notifications.
