Demons Run

After a lifetime of violence, you decide to live out the rest of your days peacefully, as a scarecrow looking over the fields of the planet Earth. Centuries pass, but something changes. The US government seizes the farm for the oil underneath. They came for the oil, but they detect an alien life form. You must evade the government agents, all the while not breaking your vow of non-violence. Penance for your atrocities, you think as you spot an armed man walking over the fields towards you.



OBJECTIVE:



You’re being hunted by the FBI. Each day, you must evade the agents and make your way to a temporary safe haven before running out of food or being captured. And you must do it again, and again, endlessly. There is no escape, only the retardation of the inevitable.



GAMEPLAY, THEME & CONTROLS



Demons Run is a turn based, tile based, rouge-like, procedurally generated endless game. The design is reminiscent of the aged arcade games that hold a place in the heart of most people today. It’s lightweight nature also means that it can be played on multiple platforms, from high end desktops to average, run off the mill smartphones.

The consumables on the ground grant you food while taking damage from the agents, moving and breaking obstacles consumes it.
