Chameleon

Deep within the jungle life thrives. In fact there's so much of it, your brain struggles to process it all and you get what we call a Chameleon.

At zoos you'll often hear the phrase "There it is!" with fingers pointing and slight nods of suggested direction outside a Chameleon enclosure and for good reason. There usually isn't one in there but it sure keeps the guests entertained.

Zoo keepers are a crafty bunch. Cheekily placed right after the stall selling drinks, a 'Chameleon Enclosure' sign will have the humble patrons reaching the bottom of their beverage, head towards the nearest trashcan and find they're slap bang 10 feet away and staring directly at the stall that sold them the drink in the first place.

It's highly likely most modern day zoo designs stem directly from the Chameleon enclosure itself as an origin point and here's why:

Sell drinks here... Stall here with fake Chameleon... then 10 minutes down the track your bladders busting and a conveniently placed sign reminds you the nearest toilet is back at the start and after a quick jog to relieve yourself you find yourself once again before the well placed food and beverages stand... Only this time you've worked up a sweat!

Thankfully in the wild Chameleons are far less tactile when it comes to capitalism. You'll be caught off guard by a wild Chameleon, jacket fully loaded and leave with a fake watch and a smile... it's not often you get mugged and left with a souvenir!
