However, Lucy's world turns upside down when she wakes up one morning, disoriented and unclothed, with an imprint on her body. Confused and lost, Lucy must uncover who her chosen mate is while the town of Beute falls into a web of conspiracy.

Luke, Lucy's childhood friend and soulmate, is part of the patrol team of Beute Village and is considered the strongest and most skilled among his peers. Joining Lucy on her journey is Del, a mixed-blood werewolf and human who acts as an information broker for Beute Village and Temberg Village. He is known for his perfectionism when it comes to the price of his information, and his lack of emotions can lead to misunderstandings.

Finally, there's Sennah, a quirky merchant who sells peculiar items in nearby villages. While he tends to annoy his friends and neighbors with his poking and chatting, Sennah's wares are unique and sold at outrageous prices.
