Drop the tiles down the screen to match them together.
If you're using the default graphic set the numbers double up : 1>2>4>8>16 etc.
Matching two (or more) '2048" tiles removes them from the screen.
Those changes only affect the tiles YOU drop, multiple drops change slightly differently and you DON'T see them happen.
To see what happens when you use the alternative graphic sets, check the in-game help screen. The scoring for each graphic set is different, but you'll have to work that out for yourself.
You only have five seconds to drop each tile before it blows up, then GAME OVER!!"
