If you are like us, you find the encounter building rules in the DMG helpful, but often require a lot of experimentation to find a group of creatures that aren't too easy or too hard for the encounter you had in mind.
This tool allows DMs to easily build up the settings of an encounter:
- the number of players and their level (individual or average party level)
- the number of creatures
- the target difficulty (easy/medium/hard/deadly)
This tool will then generate a variety of encounters for you to pick from, with various CR group distributions.
All that's left is for you to pick what creatures you want for each CR group in the encounter, with filtering options to allow you to find exactly the type of creature you are looking for.
We hope that this tool helps to speed up your prep time, or can be used to quickly build an encounter mid-game!
