In the game 「&0 (And Zero)」, you play as 'me', who has lost all memory and emotions due to an accident. Your savior takes you to the "Hello Detective Agency," where a group of exceptional detectives and members of the police force from the "Kabuki-cho Special Countermeasures Section" are all gathered. As you solve mysteries and interact with your buddies, you may find yourself falling deeply in love with one of them. This game is both a detective and romance simulation game.

You will get to choose a buddy, who welcomes you to the game from the home screen. Together with your buddy, you will go on investigations to become a full-fledged detective as your detective level increases.

You will also interact with your buddy to deepen your relationship. You can have conversations, go out together, and give them gifts to increase your intimacy level. As your level rises, your buddy may slowly open up and share his past with you. You will receive invitations and phone calls from them from time to time.

You can enjoy various stories about your buddy from different perspectives in this game. The "main story" will reveal various mysteries that intersect as your detective level increases. In addition, the "individual story" that is unlocked by the combination of intimacy level and mission shows you their past traumas and stories about your future together. You can also learn about them through "card stories" that describe their daily lives or "event stories" that are unique to a particular moment.

Famous voice actors star in this game. The game's original idea comes from Minami Tendo, and the game was mainly written by Kyoko Sanbon. The in-game music was composed by Ryosuke Fujio (Noisy Cloak) and MANYO.
