Step into the shoes of the protagonist and explore Japan to your heart's desire, encountering a variety of quirky characters such as Jibanyan and Komasan who will emerge in the real world. Set out on a quest to find and battle these mysterious creatures that inhabit different parts of Japan, gathering them up and filling your Yo-Kai dictionary in the process. To begin, use the "Search" function on the map to locate Yo-Kai in your vicinity. Each place reveals unique Yo-Kai, so make sure to remember to "Search" every time you set foot in a new area. Once you've identified your target, tap the Yo-Kai icon that appears on your mobile screen and prepare for battle! The battles are semi-automatic and straightforward; it only takes a few moves before your Yo-Kai can unleash a powerful attack. Emerging victorious from battles will earn you the chance to become friends with the Yo-Kai you fought against, so nurture them well. Entice Yo-Kai to your location by planting a "Yo-Kai tree" wherever you go, ultimately expanding your network of friends in the process. There are plenty of other ways to enjoy "Yo-Kai Watch" World, including borrowing the power of other players to get from place to place or planting "Yo-Kai trees" in novel spots. You can reflect on a record of your travels by using the "Outings Map." Additionally, "Encounter Bosses" make battling a blast anytime, anywhere.
