The NEXUS World has just been discovered, and mankind is taking its first steps on the newfound planet for the first time in history. With the many new scientific discoveries including Buddies, the valuable energy source, Nexium, and the vast variety of undocumented nature, the first voyagers are excited about the future in store for them.
However, back home, humanity is apprehensive about the alien planet.
“What if the wildlife is dangerous to humanity?”,
“What if aliens want to invade Earth and enslave us?”,
“What if opening gates to the NEXUS World lets them enter ours and destroy us all?”
Public sentiment is bubbling with apprehension, in turn affecting the NEXUS expedition. Something has to be done to prove that Buddies aren’t the threats they’ve made them out to be.
And thus, the Buddy Arena Initiative was built!
A deployable mega-stadium furnished with all the lighting, camera, and sound equipment needed for large scale live-streaming and powered solely by Nexium, this hyper-entertainment spectacle is designed to host intense competitions between explorers and their Buddies in passionate battles of teamwork and strategy to see who gathers the most Nexium!
The announcement of this event drew in people from far and wide: both Explorers with their faithful Buddy companions eager to win, and Hometown owners raring to triumph over other Hometowns with the strongest teams; Everyone is excited to see what the Buddy Arena has in store.
