Twenty Down

Twenty Down is a thrilling card game that can be played with either a single or double set of french or bavarian cards. To start, each player is given 20 points and the game concludes when a player reaches or drops below 0 points. The player who achieves a score of 0 first, becomes the victor. Bear in mind that each trick is worth a single point and if the trump icon has been designated as hearts, every trick counts for an impressive two points.

Initially, every player receives three cards. The lucky player who receives the blue trump icon will define the trump suit according to the first three cards. If not, they have the option to select the fourth card as the trump suit. Following this, each player may exchange as many cards as they want before the game commences. Once the card exchange has been completed, the person who selected the Trump suit will lead the way. Players must follow suit, with the winner of each round beginning the next. The game moves in a clockwise direction.
