Sudoku

The grid is further divided into 3x3 sub-grids, each containing 9 cells. The objective of the game is to fill every row, column, and sub-grid with numbers such that no digit is repeated in any row, column, or sub-grid.



A typical Sudoku puzzle contains some numbers already filled in as clues, usually in the form of a partially completed 9x9 grid. The number of clues varies, but a typical Sudoku puzzle has between 17 and 35 clues. The more clues given, the easier the puzzle is to solve. Conversely, the fewer clues provided, the more difficult the puzzle becomes.



To solve a Sudoku puzzle, you must use logic and deduction to determine which number belongs in each cell. The starting clues provide a starting point, but there is usually not enough information to solve the puzzle by simply filling in the missing numbers randomly. Instead, you must use the rules of Sudoku to determine which numbers are valid for each cell.
