Spielüberblick
Play Rune Seeker, a strategic card game where Runes and Units work together to dominate in unique terrain-focused battles. Multiple game modes available.
Rune Seeker is a turn-based strategy card game that centers around the manipulation and use of spell cards called Runes, which have the ability to control Units and Terrain. The game generates each terrain randomly, ensuring that players get a unique field setup during every playthrough. The player's primary objective is to deploy their Runes to enhance their army while potentially debuffing their opponent's team, ultimately leading to a win.
In essence, Rune Seeker is a card game that focuses on terrain modification. We added depth to the game by integrating strategic and tactical elements into nearly every action. It encompasses the initial squad arrangement, Unit choices, base development, and Rune collection.
Rune Seeker's gameplay is composed of three primary components: Player Base, Rune, and Units. In the Player Base mode, players must construct strategic buildings that provide resources and squad building space. Upgrading Units, minimizing waiting times, and costs rely heavily on resources. Conversely, in Rune mode, Sets are comprised of two randomly generated components that form up to 10,000 unique Runes. Aligning with player strategies and game meta determines their value, not rarity or power.
Units, on the other hand, are essential for Runes to function properly. They come in various capacities that affect the number of Runes that can be deployed. While some Units prioritize attack strength, some prefer capacity over everything else. Different Races own Units, each with special skills that auto-activate as passives or via Runes. As they improve and advance throughout the game, they become incredibly strong.
Rune Seeker has different game modes, such as Campaign mode, Wave Defense, Roguelike, and Arena mode. In Campaign mode, players confront a series of interconnected stages, battle enemies, and explore different realms in the Rune Seeker universe. In Wave Defense, players square up to face single battles but must withstand subsequent waves of enemies. You get rewards for winning and for going through more rounds. In Roguelike mode, players pick five Rune-equipped Units and can bring up to three in each fight as they explore an entirely random map meticulously. The rewards grow as you complete more challenges in an attempt to go as far as possible. Arena mode, on the other hand, is player versus player (PvP) mode, in which players select Rune-equipped Units and fight against an active player chosen by the system.
Rune Seeker is an immersive game that provides a unique gaming experience with each playthrough. You can join the Rune Seeker universe today by becoming the chosen one and setting out to locate Runes. Visit our website, Facebook Community, and Discord Community to join in the fun.
