Pro Football Coach

Live your dream of becoming an NFL champion by coaching in Pro Football Coach, a professional football simulator / management game. In this game, you become the coach/general manager of the NFL team of your choice, and your ultimate goal is to win the Championship at all costs. You even get the chance to play online against other teams to see if you're the best of the best. Just like in real professional football leagues, your team will play 16 games in the regular season in Pro Football Coach. Check which games your team is playing by navigating to the "GAMES" tab. There, you'll have access to a scouting report of the two teams, or a summary of the game if it was played already. When the regular season ends, the playoffs begin! Each division winner is guaranteed a playoff spot, with 2 wildcard teams from each conference as well. To start, you'll inherit a team with at least 46 players (22 starters) on your roster. Each player has a name, age, and ratings including Overall, Potential, Durability, and Football IQ. Smart teams perform better on the field as the Football IQ measures how football smart the player is. Each player also has a contract which is determined by how good they are and which position they play. You can browse through your team's roster and point specific ratings on the "ROSTER" tab. Your team will have:
- 2 QBs (1 starter): responsible for throwing passes to wide receivers - 4 RBs (2 starters): who run up and down the field - 6 WRs (3 starters): who catch passes for yards and TDs - 10 OLs (5 starters): responsible for protecting the quarterback - 2 Ks (1 starter): responsible for kicking extra points and field goals - 2 Ss (1 starter): responsible for covering opposing wide receivers and causing interceptions - 6 CBs (3 starters): responsible for covering wide receivers to deny them the ball - 8 DLs (4 starters): responsible for stopping the run and putting pressure on the quarterback - 6 LBs (3 starters): responsible for tackling opposing RBs and sometimes covering WRs Pro Football Coach also allows you to trade players and picks with other teams. Add players or picks to the trading block and click "View Offers" to see what other teams in the league are willing to trade. If you wish to trade for a particular player or draft pick from another team, go to that team's roster and add the desired player/pick to their trading block. Click "View Offers" to see what the team wants in return. Finally, as the coach, you get to pick your team's strategy for offense and defense, and you can change it any time. Select options like Aggressive or Conservative for offense, and No Fly Zone or Stack the Box for defense. It's up to you to lead your team to victory in Pro Football Coach.
