TIPS:
Become familiar with the cards.
Different cards allow you to do other things. Familiarize yourself with the types of cards you might draw so you won’t be surprised during gameplay.
Buy early.
Buy the majority of your properties at the beginning of the game. Early purchases may deplete your cash, but you should be able to recoup your investments as other players land on your properties.
Aim for Oligopolies.
If you are able to buy all the properties of the same color, you hold an oligopoly on that color group. When property trades occur later in the game, an oligopoly holder has a distinct advantage when bargaining for another player's property.
Try to block your opponents
Plan your property purchases to block the other players from holding an oligopoly. Holding at least one property in each color group increases your chances of winning if you have an oligopoly and prevents others from holding any monopolies.
Remember to keep petty cash on hand!
