In case Meier doesn't tell you anything - it is also known under the names Mäxle (Maexxle), Lügenmax, 21, Mäxchen, Flachmeiern, Schwindelmäx and Mia and is also celebrated as a drinking game. Now you can play this popular parlour game on your mobile phone or tablet.
The rules of the game:
The minimum number of players should be three, although a two-player game is possible, but the more players join in, the more fun the game is, so ask your friends or family to join in.
The dice are rolled clockwise one after the other with two dice. The player throwing the dice looks at his roll and then passes the coaster with the dice covered by the dice cup to his left neighbour. When passing on the dice, the points thrown must be announced. The dice with the higher number indicates the tens and the lower number the units (e.g. roll: 4 and 2 = 42).
The possible dice results are (in ascending order)
31, 32, 41, 42, 43, 51, 52, 53, 54, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 21 - The highest combination is the "Meier", that is a two and a one.
The announcement of the next player must exceed the previously announced score. The announced score can be true or a lie. The next player has the following two possibilities: 1. he throws the dice himself as described above and must announce a higher score 2. he may doubt the announcement and reveals the dice. If he uncovers the dice and he is right and the previous player really lied, the player gets one point. If the player is wrong and the predecessor has told the truth, the predecessor gets one point. If a player has reached a certain number of points, he has won.
In addition, there is also the more difficult mode, in which three dice are used.
The same rules apply, only if there are higher numbers e.g. 542, Pasche like e.g. 333 or Meier 1-6 e.g. 125 = Meier 5. Meier 6 is the highest possible roll in the game.
