Spielüberblick
Free demo for one of the weirder action-RPGs of the last few years — the one where you play as a shark, evolve into a kaiju, and gnaw the fisherman who deserves it. The Try & Buy version drops you into Fawtick Bayou, the swampy starter zone of Maneater's Gulf Coast, and lets you eat, explore, and shred smaller predators until the wall comes up and the paywall starts politely tapping its watch.
Story-wise, you're a bull shark pup whose mother was killed by Scaly Pete, a reality-TV shark hunter with a Cajun drawl and a grudge. The whole open-world campaign plays out as an in-universe nature show, narrated by Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty, 30 Rock) in his most beautifully deadpan mode. It's the kind of framing device that should get old in twenty minutes and somehow doesn't.
The real hook is the evolution system. You eat fish, alligators, jet-skiers, divers — whatever's nearby — and your shark levels up, mutates, grows. Shark loot unlocks electric jaws, bone-plated armor, shadow fins. By the late game you're closer to a cryptid than a marine animal, and that progression curve is the part players consistently single out as worth the ride.
Combat is straightforward action-RPG stuff: lock-on, bite, tail-whip, dodge, repeat. Fun in bursts. The missions can feel checklist-y after a while, especially the apex predator hunts that gate each region, and reviewers tend to flag the same thing — once you're powerful enough to bully the entire map, the tension drains out. But the basic act of swimming feels genuinely good, which papers over a lot of the shallow bits.
Single-player only. Plays fully offline. No ads, no in-app purchases inside the demo itself. The Try & Buy is free; the full Maneater unlock is a one-time purchase that opens the remaining six regions — resort beaches, industrial docks, the open Gulf — plus the complete narrated campaign and the deeper evolution paths. A reasonable, low-commitment way to find out whether being a shark with anger issues is something you actually want forty hours of.

Parece um bom jogo descente de tubarão! Uma boa opção moderno especialmente para quem já jogou o antigo Jaws Unleashed.
Muito bom e legal
