Honor Bound

Step into the shoes of a military officer and guard teenagers from top-tier families in the Republic of Teran. In "Honor Bound," a thrilling interactive novel, you call all the shots that shape the story. Comprised of a whopping 595,000 words and countless choices, this game is driven solely by your imagination; no graphics or sound effects are featured. Enjoy the challenge of rebuilding your life after a scandal and ensuring the safety of your charge at the exclusive boarding school situated not too far from your hometown.

Though bandits and natural disasters loom in the wilderness surrounding the school, it's the secret pursuits of your colleagues and your commanding officer's deception that deepen the mystery and suspense of each plot point. And while the familiarity of your birthplace brings new complications to your life, building a community and sparking romance with your colleagues can aid you in getting back on track. Will your ambition and skill earn the respect of others, or will your incompetence lead down a path that not even the bandits will tolerate?

As the protagonist, choose your gender identity, sexual orientation, and relationship status. Age doesn't restrict customization either, as players can choose to play as a junior, mid-ranking, or senior officer. Perhaps, you'll create a relationship with one of the main characters, including a dexterous outdoors expert, the priest who works tirelessly, the brainless fellow bodyguard, or even your charge's overwhelmed parent.
Play around with boarding school drama as you encourage the teen you're guarding to either make allies or enemies. Whether you choose to yield to the temptation of joining shadowy schemes or stop others from getting hurt, your choices will culminate in a unique and compelling story that you control entirely. The questions remains: how much are you willing to give up to satisfy your ambitions, duty, and devotion to country?

Oh, and don't forget to pat the dog and/or the cat.
