The blocks start at the edges of the screen and fall towards the blue hexagon.
To make the blocks disappear, you have to match three blocks of the same colour to make them disappear.
The aim of Hextris is to stop the blocks from leaving the inside of the outer grey hexagon. The time remaining until the combinations disappear is indicated by the coloured lines on the outer hexagon.
