Dodging- THE GAME

It is a 3 player game which the player chooses either to be shooter or dodger. The game is based on an ancient African popular community game, mostly played by youths for fun and for community challenges.

The player is set to avoid the ball (using quick movements) from hitting her. Since, if the ball hits the player, the life lines drops and after four (4) failed attempts to avoid the ball the player dies.

The game is developed for android platforms and the player controls the character chosen. Dodging was developed in order to instill in the player a level of concentration and pro-active thinking. In order to secure the chances of winning dodging, the player requires strategy and focus is beneficial for mental health.

Dodging was fashioned to suit the player’s convenience as it requires swiping to dodge or escape being hit by the ball and always in a bid to beat individual highest score or scores of others
