With Carrot you can connect across any app, event, treadmill, solo or experience. We are not a GPS device; we are not a run-keeper; or a tracker... We are a game!



We are uniquely different from Strava, RunKeeper, parkrun, Nike+ and all the other cool apps. We love them - we use them personally - but we wanted a way to connect all of them... So we did!

At the moment, we are exclusively for 5km running distance only.



We are different from all other apps due to 2 major reasons:

1. Your Carrot...

* The carrot is our unique time target method.

* Each week your aim is to beat your 5km target time - the more you beat it, the more likely you are to win and unlock more points.

* Your Carrot changes each game week, responding to your past performances



2. Your leagues...

* Compete against yourself, or with friends, colleagues or family in private mini-leagues.

* Leagues are like groups; they are YOUR private community.

* You can only join leagues you know; or are invited to.

* We don't do or have public leagues - and you only see the times of the people you follow.



Why? This creates a more meaningful, personal and motivational experience, to keep you inspired and connected.



A bit more info...

* Game Week opens every Sunday and closes Saturday, 18:00!

* You can upload a run (simple 3-click manual process) as many times as you like during the week.... so long as it's quicker!

We only take your best 5k time of the week.

* Your result is your ACTUAL TIME - your CARROT TARGET

* This is how we have created a unique level playing field. (now, you could race against Mo Farah... and win!)

* Carrot Points are a little bit more motivation. From annual best times to run streaks - we have created an extra layer of gaming, which the solo runners love!

* Exclusive unlocks - Only Carrot members can wear the classy, ultra-premium Carrot run sock. Buy from the Carrot store and look out for super exclusives, such as the Gold Usagi pin badge....



Future developments...

* We are working with Strava, Garmin and parkrun to integrate automatic time upload. Straight into your profile.

* We will also be opening up a new feature later on in the year where juniors, young, old or first-timers can race the 2km distance. Look out this Summer for more exciting releases.
