By selecting bulldozers and tapping the 'play' or 'single step' button, you can move them strategically. Bulldozers change direction by turning clockwise (if doable) when they encounter the grid's edge or any obstacles. When bulldozers hit coins, they pile them up and advance them forward. Also, bulldozers pushing coins attempt to change direction by turning clockwise when they bump into obstacles. However, they cannot make 180-degree turns in that situation.
