GAMEPLAY

In the game, you have 5 tries to guess a word. Once you enter the guess, the tile either turns gray, indicating that the letter is not in the word, yellow, indicating that it is in the wrong position, or green, indicating that it is in the right position. As the Marathi language's letters work a little differently with vowels being combined with consonants, the game has been designed to take that into account.

There is a help page for people who are not familiar with the game which explains how to play in detail.



STATISTICS

There is a beautiful statistics page which shows all your stats just like the New York Times' Wordle, including your win percentage, win streak, games played, etc. You can also share your results with your friends and bring a little competition!



SETTINGS

In the settings page, you can select the difficulty of the game (Easy/Hard). You can switch the color scheme of the app between light and dark mode. You can also make it automatic so it changes when your phone does.



Credits:

The idea of this app comes from New York Times' Wordle.



Future Version:

In the future, we will show the basic etymology of the words, tracking how their usage has changed in the past century. This would be possible once we have built a sufficient data bank after parsing the texts of numerous books and applying specialized data science methods. So, stay tuned!

"प्राकृत" ह्या mobile app मध्ये मराठीत Wordle खेळता येते! व, रोज कितीदाही खेळ खेळू शकता, WiFi connection नसताना सुद्धा!



खेळ

ह्या खेळात एक अपेक्षित शब्द ओळखायचा असतो. तो शब्द ओळखायला ५ वेळा संधी मिळते. शब्द टंकलिखित केल्यावर अक्षरांच्या रकान्याचा रंग बदलून संबंधित अक्षर अयोग्य (राखाडी), योग्य पण चुकीच्या जागी (पिवळा), योग्य व अचूक जागी (हिरवा) हे सुचविले जाते.



कसे खेळायचे

Mobile app मध्ये डावीकडच्या प्रश्नार्थक चिन्हाची कळ दाबदल्यावर हा खेळ कसा खेळायचा त्याबद्दल सविस्तर माहिती मिळेल.



मूल्यमापन

App मध्ये खेळाची आकडेवारी पण दिसते. उदाहरहणार्थ, तुम्ही किती खेळ खेळले आहात, कितीदा जिंकले, इत्यादी, हे सगळे दिसते. खेळ झाल्यावर तुम्ही तुमचे मराठीतले प्रभुत्व दाखवायला मित्रानांही पाठवू शकता!



पर्याय

हा खेळ दोन पद्धतीने खेळता येतो, सरल व कठीण. कठीण पद्धतीने खेळतांना काना, मात्रा व वेलांटी असलेले शब्दही गृहीत धरण्यात येतात. तुम्ही app ची रंगसंगती (color theme) पण बदलू शकता.

भविष्यात ह्या app मध्ये अजून अनेक सुविधा येणार आहेत. उदाहरणार्थ, शब्दाची व्युत्पत्ती, अर्थ, त्याचा बदलत गेलेला संदर्भ व वापर इत्यादी अनेक मनोरंजक माहिती उपलब्ध करून देण्यात येईल. पण त्यासाठी गेल्या शतकात प्रकाशित झालेल्या हजारो पुस्तकांची व त्यात वापरलेल्या शब्दांची माहिती संकलित करून data science च्या काही विशिष्ट पद्धती वापरून हे साध्य करावे लागेल. पण खेळाचा आनंद लुटण्यासाठी वाट बघण्याची गरज नाही!
