In the game, you and your wife were captured by demons, and you wake up in a prison cell, hours, if not days later, with your wife missing. Armed with a sword, you embark on a quest to find and rescue your wife and vanquish the demons in bit Dungeon. As you progress through its randomized dungeons, the hack-and-slash gameplay gets more challenging alongside stronger bosses. With customizable abilities, character building is entirely up to you. However, if you die, you lose everything and have to start again like the classic games of old. Reaching level 4 gives you an extra life soul after defeating the boss. It provides a second chance upon dying.
