Beat The Heat is a casual card game whose objective is to help you manage your stress.
In Beat The Heat, everyday stressful situations are represented by STRESSOR cards, while useful responses to such situations are represented by their COUNTERS. Match all your STRESSORS with their COUNTERS before your opponent does, to win the game!
What makes Beat The Heat unique is the deck of 58 handmade cards that represent stressful situations, of which I hope a few will remind you of your own past experiences in stressful events. The game is all about identifying the correct responses to these situations, such that in the future your attitude may change towards them, causing you to respond to them with more patience. Try to picture all the stressors in your life as having one or more correct solutions, which you only need to identify.
