TurboLettura is a game for smartphones and tablets for the treatment of developmental dyslexia and the consolidation of the reading process.
It was born from the experience of the clinical research group of Istituto Santa Chiara, a private healthcare company with twenty years of experience, and the expertise of One Health Vision, an innovative startup dedicated to the world of Digital Health.
TurboLettura is designed for children and not only for schoolchildren with a diagnosis of dyslexia, but also for those with a diagnostic suspicion or with a reading process to be consolidated.

- VOCAL RECOGNITION
It is the cornerstone of TurboLettura technology. The little ones will be able to read, be autonomous and become active protagonists in the treatment because the speech recognition engine recognizes any errors in reading and returns feedback. In case of non-recognition or incorrect pronunciation, the application will ask you to write the current word in keyboard mode.
- GAMIFICATION
TurboLettura is designed for the little ones, it is shaped precisely on their needs. It is a dynamic 3D game, moved by the principles of gamification, set in a fantasy world, which has as its protagonists some little animals competing in a fun race to win prizes. The key principle of the app is the token economy, also known as a token reinforcement system. Objective: to make the desired behavior manifest more frequently and correctly. Like? Reinforcing the little one and motivating him to return to constant and systematic exercise to customize the look of "Whirlwind" with more than 600 combinations of jetpacks, helmets and suits.

- AUTOCALIBRATION
The application calibrates itself automatically and adapts to the performance of those who use it. The goal is to refine the rehabilitation methods by personalizing them to the student's abilities and therapeutic goals.
- SIDE MASKING
Useful in the initial stages of training, it allows you to view only the word to be read, obscuring the rest of the passage. This is due to the crowding effect (confusion) generally experienced by people with dyslexia.
- AUTONOMY
The work can be done independently and wherever you want. It is important to ensure continuity of treatment, it is essential to train daily for at least 20 minutes.
- PROGRESS MONITORING
The reports, generated at the end of each exercise carried out, will illustrate the number of syllables and words read, the number of errors, the final and initial reading frequency, the turbos performed and the prizes earned.
