GAMEPLAY
Pongo17 offers players an opportunity to embody the soul of Nature and Chaos which are encapsulated in precious crystals that they must defend from the ball that juggles original ideas. Players control paddles that move left and right while defending their crystals and transforming the ideas of the ball simultaneously. During gameplay, players can retrieve power-ups that represent different aspects at play in this never-ending battle. The effects of these power-ups vary, and they can have a profound impact on the outcome of the game.

ACTIVE ABILITIES:
– Magnify (double the size of the paddle)
– Fire a projectile that can reverse the movement of the ball or opponent, or destroy a block of defense.

PASSIVE ABILITIES:
– Spawn a block of defense to shield your crystal (if the power-up is green)
– Double the paddle's speed (if the power-up is yellow)

PASSIVE PENALIZATION:
– Temporarily cancel your active abilities (if the power-up is purple)
– Decrease the speed of the paddle (if the power-up is red)
– Reverse movement for a few seconds (if the projectile touches you)

BALL POWER-UPS:
– Add 3 points to your score (if the power-up is yellow)
– Deduct 3 points from your score (if the power-up is red)
Hint* The raging ball can cause significant damage to players and walls!

CONTROLS
To move the paddle, players have two options. They can either pause the game in the middle and choose:
– Static – the screen is split into two halves, left and right (ideal for playing with two fingers)
– Dynamic – hold and slide right or left on the screen, like a swipe (perfect for playing with one finger)
*Consider the limited speed of the paddle; you will not be able to move it immediately to your desired position making it more challenging but fun.
Once you master the paddle's movements and techniques, playing Pongo17 becomes a thrilling experience. Sometimes, you'll even take risks that affect your points to gain a desired counter-effect.
