Over Quartz is a turn-based auto-battler RPG game whose objective is to collect equipment and strengthen your characters. You will lead your team all the way up to the top of the "Rank Match" leaderboard in the arena. It is easy for beginners to get into as the game implements an auto-battle system, yet contains many features for veterans of the genre to enjoy to their delight. The game system is composed of three main components. The first one, the turn-based auto-battle mode, is characterized by the configuration of your team. You can place up to three members within the 3x3 grid, which can be changed depending on whether you are in the dungeon or the arena. The key to success is choosing the right configuration of characters and equipment in order to increase their odds of winning. The second component of Over Quartz is Quartz itself. Quartz is an essential aspect of the game, where the customization of your characters’ actions, such as activating skills and defending, is concerned. Each character is allowed to equip up to three pieces, and you must carefully think through this strategy in order to maximize your party's combat potential. The third component is character development. Players can increase a character's rank and unlock skills by collecting character fragments. Every piece of equipment can be used by any character, giving players the freedom of choice to create a unique party to their own liking. Even if you find it difficult to pick out equipment, the "auto-select" feature is available to beginners to help them easily get started. In the dungeon, every time you challenge it, the maps change making it more unpredictable. The level of difficulty is contingent on the route selections you make, offering a unique challenge for each player. Keep on looping things and you might even discover rare and precious items. By randomly matching with others, players can test their skills through one of three different styles of battles - "Rank Match," where wins and losses determine rank; "Room Match," where you can choose your opponents; and "Training," where players can experiment with party settings and strategies.
