At it's core, this game is about building a tower as high as you can. Each block must be placed in the correct location, with the proper orientation, and in the correct layer. The player must place one block at a time, and each block has a limited number of moves. The player has to balance the game between building a tower as high as possible, and not allowing blocks to fall.
