For parents who want to educate their children in multilingualism, you have the following application created by the Basque service of your municipality, commonwealth or gang.
The application has two main sections: one for children and one for parents.
On the entry screen you will find 7 characters, each of which will lead you to a game: Geometric Shapes, Letter Game, Watch and Learn, Kati the Cat, Colors, Pair Game and Numbers. Children will choose their favorite character and practice Basque while playing. Each game has different levels.
The parenting section is divided into four parts. At the beginning, the development process of the child's language skills is explained and the answers to the eleven concerns and questions raised by educating children in multilingualism are received; the second part is a short Basque-Spanish dictionary, divided into several sections and also the words can be heard through locutions. Then, thanks to some exercises, it is possible to learn how to correct the most common mistakes we make when talking to children; and at the end, you will find games and songs to enjoy with your children.
