PARENTS
In this application of the Skill Development game series, the child can get acquainted with the sounds of various domestic and wild animals, vehicles, household appliances and objects of use. Meanwhile, the application develops, among other things, visual attention, eye-hand coordination, thought processes, systematization, and mathematical and social skills.
Four different game modes add color to learning:
- picture pairing for sound,
- audio pairing with image,
- image sorting based on sound sequence,
- sound-image memory game.
Within the game, we can distinguish several levels of difficulty. It is advisable to move from the easiest to the more difficult, as each level builds on each other, getting harder and expanding. In this way, it is possible for even intellectually severely disabled children to play with the application, gain knowledge and experience success, and thus develop.
While the child is playing, sit next to him or her, talk to him or her about the pictures he or she sees, and if he or she can talk, ask him or her to formulate the task in his or her own words! Pay attention to encourage, praise, give positive affirmation! Let the time spent with application and learning be a source of common joy for children, parents and teachers alike!
