About the Game:
Experience the fascinating world of Callbreak Champ, a strategic card game designed for four players which is based on trick-taking. The game uses a standard deck of 52 playing cards involving thrilling rounds of skill and sagacity.
How to Play:
🔄 Game Setup: Four players are needed for this game, however, there are no partnerships required. A pack of 52-card is used ranking from high to low: A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2. The game proceeds counter clockwise, with the first dealer being chosen at random.
🃏 Trump: Spades are mainly used as the predefined Trump suit, but they can be personalized in the game settings.
📢 The Call: Bidding starts with the player to the dealer's right and proceeds to move counterclockwise. Every player must bid, ranging from 1 to 12, which represents the number of tricks they aim to win.
🎮 Gameplay: The player on the dealer's right leads the first trick, with the subsequent tricks being led by the winner of the previous one. Players must follow the suit if it is possible, playing with a higher card if available. Players unable to follow the suit may play with a trump card if they hold one, or any other card of choice. Each trick is won by the highest trump or the highest card of the led suit if no trumps are played.
📈 Scoring: The objective of the players is to successfully fulfill their bid. If they fail to do so, negative points equal to the bid are awarded, while fulfilling or exceeding the bid earns points equivalent to the bid plus 0.1 points for each extra trick. The player with the highest score after a set number of rounds wins.
