The mobile game “The New Hanseatic Way” is a full-fledged tour of the lower Nemunas cultural heritage sites, during which the history of river navigation and navigation in the Kaunas region is presented and the great importance and significance of rivers for the identity of todaycity is revealed.

In this game you will travel from the 13 th to the 20 th century, getting acquainted with a number of
historical and fictional characters, and taking part in adventures that you will never stop telling
your friends and relatives about. Together with the game's hero, historian and archaeologist, you
will begin your research at Pypliai castle-hill. Here you will find a mysterious door, which will
open to reveal the Beast of Kaunas. Unfortunately, you will not be able to return until you have
completed all the tasks of Underground Kaunas!
And so that there is no lack of adventures on your phone, you will meet characters who will send
you on errands trips to the present-day surroundings of Sunny Kaunas to look for scattered
objects and history. You only find everything only when you arrive and turn on the Augmented
Reality (AR) camera. And for the most curious who have come to four exclusive historical
places of Kaunas – Kaunas Castle, the House of Perkūnas, Pažaislis Monastery Ensemble,
Raudondvaris Manor Homestead – what awaits you is virtual reality glasses with stories about
the past. Portrayed in a modern way.
