Celebrate the 20th anniversary of KOF with the return of the popular 2D VS fighting game "THE KING OF FIGHTERS-A 2012" as a free app! The game now features 12 new fighters from the "ART OF FIGHTING", "PSYCHO SOLDIER", "KIM", and "IKARI" teams, in addition to the characters from the previous installment, giving players a roster of 32 fighters to choose from to create their favorite team.



With 6 game modes available, including "SINGLE BATTLE" for 1-on-1 fights and "TEAM BATTLE" for classic KOF 3-on-3 gameplay, players can enjoy thousands of hours of gameplay on their own. The new "TIME ATTACK" mode challenges players to compete for the best clear times by winning 10 matches, while "TRAINING" mode offers a chance to get used to the virtual pad-based controls and to practice combos.

The virtual pad recreates the smooth controls of KOF, making it easy for even novice players in fighting games to execute various moves, including Special Moves, Super Special Moves, NEOMAX Super Special Moves, and complex moves with just one touch. The simple commands feature allows for fancy combos that can be achieved with ease. Novice players can refer to the "TUTORIAL" mode for an explanation of these commands.

The game also adds tons of new trading cards, illustrations, and other content that can be unlocked using points earned during gameplay. This release includes rough sketches and illustrations that are exclusive to the app, making it an irresistible offer for KOF fans.
