The characters include Warrior, Assassin, Thief, and Wizard, and you must race your opponents through dangerous terrains to reach the heart of the kingdom and seize the Crown of Command.

Some of the features of Talisman: Digital Edition include local multiplayer mode - Pass to Play, real-time online multiplayer mode for 2-6 players, the option to play against AI characters in offline games, and the availability of optional house rules. You can also enjoy the interactive tutorial, the online rulebook, and AI speed settings so that you can play the game at your own pace. Moreover, you can earn XP as you play, and if you earn enough XP, you'll unlock rare Runestone cards, exclusive to this digital edition. The game highlights six languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Polish. Other game features include the availability of achievements and leaderboard, where you can compare yourself with other players around the world.

For those who want to play online: A Google+ account is required to access online play, leaderboards, and achievements. For optimal gameplay, the game is best played on screens of at least 4". Text may be hard to read on smaller screens. Unfortunately, the game doesn't support asynchronous play. Due to players having to react to spell casting, Talisman isn't suited for that type of gameplay.
